Meet Dr. Berkowitz

Hello, I’m Staci Berkowitz, PhD (she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Anxiety and Wellness Psychological Services. I practice in New York and Florida.

I specialize in assessing and treating anxiety, OCD, and trauma-related distress. I work with people on getting unstuck from thoughts, emotions, and coping patterns that take them away from the life they want to lead.

I provide evidence-based therapy that is backed by science. I offer concrete strategies that help my clients understand and address their emotional distress. I deliver individual psychotherapy from the following approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and exposure therapy.

I am passionate about helping others live personally meaningful, enriching lives. I have a collaborative style and personalize care to each client’s individual needs. I take the time to understand my clients’ experiences as well as the tangible, lasting change they want and deserve. I love helping clients not only reduce their suffering but also thrive.
